With temperatures in Winter as low as -10oC and Summer topping around 38oC, the seasonal nature display in the area is unique to each season. Winter time sees temperatures plummet with the occasional sprinkling of sleet and in higher areas a dusting of SNOW. 2015 saw a once in a 30 year occurrence of a blanketing of SNOW. |

With a total District population of around 12,000 and the town of Stanthorpe around 4,500, the Granite Belt is a close-knit community ideal for retirees and families. | |
